Habemus Papam
Cardinal Robert Prevost has been elected successor to Pope Francis and has taken the name Pope Leo XIV. Pope Leo XIII developed some of the Church’s key social teachings and his transformative encyclical letter, Rerum Novarum, published in 1891, has been the inspiration of many teaching documents in the years since.
On this Good Shepherd Sunday, we pray that Pope Leo XIV will be granted the wisdom, health and strength that he needs to shepherd the church during these difficult times.
